The Val Tidone International Music Competitions are highly selective: while the awarding of prizes is contingent upon the achievement of exceptionally high artistic standards, success in competitions of recognised prestige can, in many cases, serve as a springboard for an international artistic career.
Among the prizewinners of the Val Tidone International Music Competitions, which will celebrate their 29th edition in 2027, are numerous artists who have gone on to establish distinguished careers, including pianists Alice Sara Ott, Michail Lifits and Lukas Geniušas, all internationally acclaimed concert performers; violinist Vineta Sareika, former Concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker; accordionists Radu Ratoi and Raimondas Sviackevičius (Professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre); the Chopin Piano Quintet and the violin-piano duo Rita Mascagna–Mari Fujino; composer Andrea Portera; and many others.
Over the years, the distinguished musicians who have served on the competition juries include pianists Dmitri Bashkirov, Boris Berman, Lazar Berman, Boris Bloch, Michele Campanella, Roberto Cappello, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Pavel Gililov, Ayami Ikeba, Andrzej Jasiński, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Leonid Margarius, Viktor Merzhanov, Sergio Perticaroli and Natalia Trull; composers Azio Corghi, Luis de Pablo, Ivan Fedele, Klaus Huber and Fabio Vacchi; and many other prominent figures in the international music world.

The Val Tidone International Music Competitions require high professional standards. Therefore a prize obtained in those contests represents a valuable passport toward an international career.
Among the winners of the Val Tidone International Music Competitions, now in their 26th edition, many career artists, such as the pianists Alice Sara Ott, Michail Lifits and Lukas Geniusas; the accordionists Radu Ratoi and Raimondas Sviackevicius (professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre); the Chopin Piano Quintet and the Violin-Piano Duos Rita Mascagna-Mari Fujino and Vineta Sareika-Gabriela Ungureanu; the composer Andrea Portera and many others.
Even the name of the jury members represent a guarantee.
