The Val Tidone International Music Competitions are known for their high artistic and professional standards. Winning one of these prizes represents not only a mark of excellence but also a valuable passport to an international career.
Now in their 26th edition, the competitions have launched the careers of numerous accomplished artists, including: Pianists Alice Sara Ott, Michail Lifits and Lukas Geniusas; Violinist Vineta Sareika, former Konzertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker; Accordionists Radu Ratoi and Raimondas Sviackevicius (professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre); The Chopin Piano Quintet and the Violin-Piano Duos Rita Mascagna-Mari Fujino; Composer Andrea Portera, among many others.
