Music Arrangement Workshop (Renzo Ruggieri)
Renzo Ruggieri won several National and International competitions.
He has concertized throughout Italy, Brazil, Spain, Germany, U.K., France, Slovakia, USA, Iceland, Russia, etc.
He teaches jazz at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato
"G. Braga" of Teramo.
His student Mario d'Amario won the 2006 Accordion Trophée
(section varietè) in Asker, Norway.
He has written many compositions, arrangements,
educational texts for important music publishers and articles
for specialist magazines.
He writes musical scores for the theatre, collaborating
with artists such as Piera Degli Esposti, Antonio Calenda,
Germano Mazzocchetti, Davide Riondino, Judith Malina, David Haughton,
Paolo Perelli.
 
As an accordionist he has involved in two projects:
"Solo Accordion Project" (experimental jazz) and Renzo Ruggieri Group
(tonal jazz with Paolo Di Sabatino, Massimo Manzi, Massimo Moriconi).
He collaborates with Gianni Coscia, Art Van Damme, Enrico Rava,
Sageer Khan, Geoffrey Warren, Giovanni Maier, Ares Tavolazzi,
Peppino Principe, Orchestra Contemporanea conducted by Toni Fidanza,
Maurizio Rolli, Diana Torto, Bruno De Filippi, Gianni Cazzola,
Jim Gailoreto, Ada Montellanico, Fabrizio Bosso, Lino Patruno,
Michael Supnick.
Apart from record appearances as a session artist,
he has made 5 CD's entering the national charts;
in particular, the magazine MUSICA JAZZ considered
the CD "Accordion Voyage" one of the best jazz records
of 2000 (Top 20). In 2005 Renzo has been considered by this magazine
one of the best talents for all the instruments and the
best accordionist.
Renzo Ruggieri is artistic director of the
"Dolci Romori" Jazz Festival, Pineto Accordion Jazz Festival and Benevento Accordion Festival.
He has concertized throughout the Italy with the renown singer Antonella Ruggiero,
recording the CD "Musica Divina" of which he has also made some arrangements. Together with
Antonella Ruggiero, Renzo will take part in 2007 Sanremo Festival.
