Val Tidone Summer Camp
Presentation
The Val Tidone Summer Camp is an innovative program of summer music courses whose aim is to organize international cultural exchanges. Lessons will take place in a campus located in some beautiful castles of the Val Tidone, not unlike the US Summer Camps.
Each course will be 6 days long: students can take part in it as active (mastercourse) or auditors with the right to receive one active lesson (masterclass).
 
The lessons will be held by world-wide renown teachers,
such as Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Sergej Krylov, Laura Groppi,
Leonid Margarius, Carlo Levi Minzi and others.
The organization will offer some scholarships, concerts and tourist excursions, such as guided tours to the Val Tidone castles, to the city of Piacenza and to vineyards.
In 2008, as tradition, three international music events in the Val Tidone castles will be organized:
1. Val Tidone International Music Competitions
2. I.M.C. Project - Val Tidone Summer Camp
3. Val Tidone Festival
The Project, named "Val Tidone, una valle in musica",
has been promoted by Comune di Pianello Val Tidone, Comune di Sarmato,
Comune di Agazzano, Comune di Borgonovo Val Tidone,
Comune di Calendasco, Comune di Castel San Giovanni,
Comune di Gragnano Trebbiense, Comune di Nibbiano, Comune di Pecorara,
Comune di Rottofreno and Comune di Ziano Piacentino
under patronage of Regione Emilia Romagna, Provincia di Piacenza
and Comunitą Montana della Valle del Tidone.
