As tradition, three international music events in the Val Tidone castles will be organized:

1. Val Tidone International Music Competitions
2. Val Tidone Summer Camp
3. Val Tidone Festival

Val Tidone International Music Competitions
2012 edition (June, 10th-17th)

Five International Music Competitions will be organized:

-    "Val Tidone" Young Talents Competition
      Sections: Piano, Accordion, Strings, Chamber Music
-    "Silvio Bengalli" Piano Prize
-    "Contessa Tina Orsi Anguissola Scotti"
      Chamber Music Prize
-    "Carlo Civardi" Accordion Prize
-    "Egidio Carella" Composition Competition

Besides that, a Special Prize for Folk Music will be assigned.

We will offer money prizes and concerts in Europe and Asia (2012 edition total prizes amount: euro 26.000,00 + concerts), publication and performance of the selected scores.

The Val Tidone International Music Competitions require high professional standard. Therefore a prize obtained in those contests represents a valuable passport toward an international career.

Even the name of the jurors represent a guarantee: pianist such as Karl-Heinz Kaemmerling, Viktor Merzhanov, Sergio Perticaroli, Boris Bloch, Dmitri Bashkirov, Andrzei Jasinski, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Lazar Berman, Carlo Levi Minzi, Vincenzo Balzani, Leonid Margarius, Pavel Gililov, Boris Petrushansky, Jura Margulis, Ratko Delorko, Ayami Ikeba etc.; University and Conservatory directors such as Jacques Grimbert ("Musique en Sorbonne" - Paris), Paul Méfano (CNR Versailles), Leonardo Taschera (Conservatorio "G. Verdi" - Milano), Andrea Talmelli (Istituto Musicale Pareggiato "A. Peri" - Reggio Emilia), Fabrizio Garilli (Conservatorio "G. Nicolini" - Piacenza); world famous composers such as Luis de Pablo, Klaus Huber, Azio Corghi, Ivan Fedele, Sonia Bo, Giuseppe Colardo and Paul Méfano; accordionists such as Friedrich Lips, Teodoro Anzellotti, Radzap Shaykhutdinov, Vladimir Zubitsky, Sergio Scappini, Vojin Vasovic, Ricardas and Raimondas Sviackevicius; the cellist Michael Flaksman, the violinist Ernesto Schiavi (Artistic Director of the Teatro alla Scala Philharmonic Orchestra) and principal parts of important orchestras such as Mikhail Tsinman (Konzertmeister of the Bolshoi Theatre), Alfre Rutz (principal flaute of the RTSI Orchestra), Pierino Miretti (principal clarinet of the Regio Theatre in Torino), Leonardo Colonna(principal contrabbass of the Scala Theatre in Milano and Solisti Veneti Orchestra) and others.
